Sports: Giannis Finally Gets His First Win in a Heat Uniform as Bam Passes Udonis Haslem
Miami snapped an 0-4 start in Atlanta behind 24 and 18 from Giannis and a franchise record for Bam Adebayo.

The Giannis era in Miami is officially on the board. Giannis Antetokounmpo put up 24 points and 18 rebounds as the Heat beat the Hawks 129-117 in Atlanta on Wednesday night, per the Associated Press, ending a 0-4 start that the Miami Herald says was the franchise's worst opening since 2007-08.
Bam Adebayo matched Giannis with 24 points to go with nine boards, and his seventh rebound late in the fourth quarter moved him past Udonis Haslem as the Heat's all-time leading rebounder. The Herald reports Haslem, who mentored Bam, had already sent him a long voice note about the record before the season started.
Miami lived in the paint, outscoring Atlanta 70-52 down low while shooting 53% from the field. Andrew Wiggins added 18, Pelle Larsson had 17 and Tim Hardaway Jr. chipped in 14 off the bench. Rookie Kingston Flemings and Nickeil Alexander-Walker scored 23 apiece for the Hawks, who have now dropped three straight.
The Heat head home to face the Pacers on Friday.
