Drake Appears to Co-Sign Pat McAfee's Pitch for Him to Pop Out at the NFL's Thanksgiving Halftime Show
Jay-Z has the Super Bowl, but McAfee wants Drizzy on the Thanksgiving stage with Ella Langley.

Jay-Z has the Super Bowl locked up, but Pat McAfee has a different NFL stage in mind for Drake. McAfee and his co-hosts floated the idea of Drizzy popping out during the NFL's Thanksgiving halftime show, and Drake seems to be into it, according to HotNewHipHop.
Country star Ella Langley is set to headline the Thanksgiving halftime, and the McAfee crew argued Drake needs to come out and perform "Solar Eclipse" with her. HotNewHipHop reports Drake liked a repost of the McAfee clip on Instagram, which is about as close to a public response as fans are going to get for now.
Do not book your seats yet. A like is not a confirmation, and there is no word from the NFL, Langley or Drake's camp that anything is actually in the works. Any surprise guest would ultimately need the league's sign-off.
The timing is what makes it interesting. Jay-Z, who Drake has reportedly had tension with, is the one headlining Super Bowl LXI at SoFi, and plenty of fans assumed that door had closed on Drake for good. A Thanksgiving cameo would at least give him an NFL moment of his own.
