Anderson .Paak and Cordae Snap Over Mobb Deep's 'Quiet Storm' on L.A. Leakers
The 'Heavy Is the Crown' duo ran through a classic Mobb Deep beat on Power 106, and the clips are everywhere.

Anderson .Paak and Cordae are still on the victory lap. Days after their joint album "Heavy Is the Crown" landed on Oct. 23, the pair pulled up to Power 106 for Justin Credible's L.A. Leakers freestyle series and went straight at Mobb Deep's 1999 classic "Quiet Storm."
Power 106 put the session out on Oct. 27, and it has been circling the timeline ever since. It is the first time the two have hit the series together as a duo, even though both have stopped by on their own promo runs before.

Cordae came with the heavier bars, rapping, "My bank see more wires than the orthodontist office," per The Hip Hop Democrat, while .Paak slid in his own flexes. Fans on X are calling it one of the strongest duo chemistry moments in a minute, though a few are already debating whether anything touches the original.
"Heavy Is the Crown" is out through APESHIT, Mass Appeal and EMPIRE. Early chart projections point to a strong first week, but nothing official has posted yet.
